Ersilia was born in Shamrock, TX to the late Abelino DelBosque, Jr. and Nancy Ruiz Garza. She was a lifelong resident of Shamrock, where she met Mike Doss, the love of her life and husband of 39 years. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married on September 21, 1985 in Shamrock. They welcomed two beautiful children who meant the world to them.
Though she loved her children, her pride and joys were her 6 grandchildren. She was involved in every aspect of her grandkids’ lives. Chasing them around to all of their activities and events is what she enjoyed the most. Ersilia will always be remembered for her kind heart, loving soul and fierce love of God.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Doss, of Shamrock; son, Derek Doss of Wheeler; daughter, Deidre Lawyer and husband, Jake, of Shamrock; 6 grandkids, Chasey Lane, Zadey Doss, Skylynn, Jaxon, Kamden & Brixton Lawyer; sister, Linda Porter and husband, Brandon, of Wellington; Mary-Ann, Lisa, Andrew, and Amanda Garza all of Shamrock; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family and friends.
