God Bless you E.J. you've always been a good friend, you will be missed.
David and I feel very Blessed to have had E.J. as one of our friends. We have such great memories of our adventures to the lake, even though I got my first and only chewing out by E.J. when I put the barbeque sauce on the chicken too soon! I remember playing spoons on E.J.'s 40th birthday, and I was 9 months pregnant.E.J. and David sleeping through the show and many many more memories and the laughter was so contagious. We will miss our friend dearly, but we have so many wonderful memories of ya'll so we will never forget.Jan and Hippie

It has been so very long since I had seen E. J., but lots of good memories from our childhood. My parents Henry and Lettie Whitfield, my brother, Jerry and I lived at Bivins Station. I loved to go to E. J.s house, especially when Mrs. Webb was baking. E. J. would talk her into giving us some of her delicious sweet dough. E. J. bought my box at a box supper one time and I managed to spill it on the floor. God Bless you all. Lela Gene Whitfield Chandler
