AMARILLO SERVICES - 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories in Clarendon with Rev. Nancy Moore, Pastor of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church of Amarillo, officiating. INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Christine was born December 25, 1921 in Chicota, Texas to Alvin and Alice McEwin Pittman. In 1925, she moved with her family to Donley County. She graduated from Clarendon High School with the class of 1940 and attended Clarendon College. She married Calvin Llewellyn Bain on December 7, 1944 in Amarillo. She was employed by White and Kirk-Sakowitz-Dunlaps and retired after many years. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her husband; her parents; two brothers, Allen Pittman and Ray Pittman; two sisters, Jewell Wood and Ina Fay Phillips; and her grandson, Kevin Keesee. SURVIVORS - her daughter, Sue Eleyn Keesee of Barstow, CA; a special niece and caretaker, Alice Harrison and husband Edward of Amarillo; a brother, Billy Mac Pittman and wife Ruth of Amarillo; a sister-in-law, LaRue Pittman of Amarillo; and five nieces & two nephews. MEMORIALS - The family request memorials be to Citizens Cemetery Association / PO Box 983 / Clarendon, Texas 79226 or Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Amarillo.
