GRAVESIDE SERVICES – 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed with Pastor Mike Maxwell, officiating.
INTERMENT – Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Mrs. Massey was born June 4, 1934 in Alanreed to George Ed “Mug” and Mildred Orrie “Millie” Castleberry. She married Bobby Jack Massey on August 25, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. She had been a lifetime resident of McLean and Alanreed. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to the care of her special needs son, Brent, for 50 years. She was a talented pianist and vocalist who enjoyed gospel music and ministered in her church. She loved the Lord with all of her heart.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents.
SURVIVORS – her husband, Bobby Jack Massey of McLean; a son, Steven Brent Massey of McLean; a daughter, Brenda Shirlene Galley and husband Gene of McLean; a sister, Bobbie Ellen Willis of Dumas; 2 grandchildren, Jonathan Galley and wife Nancy and Rachel Galley all of Lubbock; and a cousin, Pansy Alice Bryant of Pampa.
MEMORIALS - The family request memorials be sent to the Loaves and Fishes Ministry in McLean.
