Elizabeth Sullivan's Obituary
Elizabeth “Mema” Sullivan died Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Stafford, KS.
Services will be 10:30 AM Monday, February 27, 2023 in the Claude Church of Christ with Shawn Johnson, officiating. Private burial will be in Claude Cemetery in Claude, Texas.
Viewing will be held from 1:00-6:00 PM Sunday at Robertson's in Claude, Texas with the family receiving friends for visitation from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Arrangements are by Robertson Claude Chapel.
She was born November 15, 1934 to William L and Virgle Oxley in Florien, Louisiana.
She was united in marriage to W.T. Sullivan on October 31,1954 at Clovis, NM. They shared 52 years of marriage. W.T. preceded her in death on April 18, 2006.
She lovingly served as a Hospice and Meals on Wheels volunteer. She enjoyed bible reading, traveling, camping, gardening, bird watching, painting, and cooking for her family. She was a longtime member of the Claude Church of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Gregory Don Sullivan in 2005; great-grandson, A.J. Walton in 2008; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include daughter, Debbie Johnson and husband Brad of Stafford, KS; a son, David Scott Sullivan and wife Robin of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Rose Melancon of Memphis, TN, Marie Bynam of Louisiana. 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
