Elizabeth Ann “MeMe” Griffin, 88, of McLean, TX passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Wheeler.
A memorial gathering will be held at her house, 420 Gray St, Sunday March 16th at 2pm. She didn’t want anything big.

Ann was born in Crystal Springs, MS on December 14, 1936 to Warren and Myrtis (Rhodes) Wilson. Ann grew up in Mississippi and graduated from Clinton High School. She was a homemaker most of her life, raising her daughter, Jodie. She moved to McLean in the 60’s and has been a resident since. Ann loved gardening and could always be found outside on a nice day. She was very proud of her yard and even won the best lawn award. Ann enjoyed serving others and showed her love by cooking for them. Hosting family and friends in her home was a great passion of hers. She especially loved being “MeMe” and spending time with her great-great-grandchildren. Other hobbies of Ann’s included exchanging books with her great-granddaughter and fishing.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Chuck Griffin in 2004.
Survivors include her daughter, Jodie Morgan of McLean; brother, Robert “Bobby” Wilson of Crystal Springs, MS; 2 granddaughters, Amanda Hutchison and husband Toby of McLean, and Bonnie McCasland and husband Kendall of Andrews, TX; 4 great-grandchildren, Daniel Hutchison and wife Yanci of McLean, Hailey Phillips and husband Harold of McLean, Nathan and Emily McCasland both of Andrews; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Toby, Katelynn and Stetson Hutchison and Presley Phillips.
