Elias Morales Rivera's Obituary
Elias Morales Rivera, of Wheeler, TX, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 in Wheeler at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 26 days. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wheeler, with Father Marco A. Gonzalez officiating. Rosary will be at 6:00 PM Monday at St. Mary’s.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Elias was born on August 18, 1969 in Torreon, Coahuila Mexico to Juan Manuel Morales and Elvira Rivera Zarzosa. He grew up in Torreon and attended Electrical Tech school and Automotive Tech school. He married Alicia Galvin in Juarez Mexico. Elias worked in Juarez, Chihuahua until 2009, when he moved to Wheeler, TX. He worked as an auto mechanic in a shop at his home. He enjoyed installing sound systems in cars and enjoyed listening to oldies music, as well as groups like AC/DC and Queen. Two of his favorite things were buying tools and taking care of his beloved Pontiac Sunfire car. Elias was Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Manuel Morales.
Survivors include his mother, Elvira, of Mexico; his wife, Alicia Galvin of Wheeler, TX; 4 children, Jessica Morales of Wheeler, TX, Cesar Morales of Pampa, TX, Alejandro Morales of Mexico and Pedro Morales, also of Mexico; and 4 grandchildren.
