MEMPHIS
SERVICES- 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in the Memphis Church of Christ with Tom Anderson, officiating.
INTERMENT- Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Elaine was born May 3, 1929 in Durant, Oklahoma to Arthur William and Rosa Etta Beck Jewett. She married J.W. Ivy on February 21, 1945 in Memphis. She had been a resident of Memphis most of her life. She had been a payroll clerk for the Memphis Compress for 8 years and worked at the First State Bank in Memphis for 10 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Memphis Church of Christ.
PRECEDED IN DEATH- her parents; her husband in 1982; her daughter, Sandra Braddock in 1993; and 4 sisters.
SURVIVORS- her son, Larry Ivy and wife Kathy of Estelline; her daughter, Catherine Mitchell and husband Mike of Tyler; 6 grandchildren, Pete Braddock of Childress, Michael Braddock of Wheeler, Jennifer Quezada of Paducah, Kentucky, T.J. Ivy of Amarillo, Ty Ivy of White Deer, and Russell Mitchell of Tyler; 13 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Robert Jewett, Clifford Jewett, Arthur Jewett, and John Jewett.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to Fairview Cemetery Association.
