WHITE DEER
SERVICES - 2:00 pm on Friday, June 18, 2010 in Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa with Rev. Alan Wilson, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of White Deer, officiating.
INTERMENT - Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa.
Viewing will be held from 11:00 am until service time Friday in the Mausoleum.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Edna was born March 12, 1947 in Ashland, Oregon to Basil & Ocie Kingrey Harvey. She married Jessie Marvin Young on February 13, 1965 in North Bend, Oregon. She had been a resident of Claude and Pampa before moving to White Deer 2 years ago. She loved to crotchet, sewing, playing billiards, dance, and spoil everyone. She was the best wife, mother, & grandmother. She also was a best mother to many foster children.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - Her parents; her husband, of 44 years on April 4, 2009; her stepfather, Louis Anicker; 2 brothers, Melvin Harvey and Francis Harvey.
SURVIVORS - a son, Brian David Young of Borger; 5 daughters, Ocie Kirkland Garza and husband Joe of Victoria, Katrina Huston and husband Chuck of Wells, Nevada, Jessica Shaw and husband James of White Deer, Tamara Kitchen and boyfriend Ryan Mears of Pampa, and J’Lene Kitchen of Pampa; a son in law, Randall Kirkland of Pampa; 4 sisters, Ardella Blythe and husband James of Oak Harbor, Washington, Nelda Fosmore of Mena, Arkansas, Dorothy McPherson of Eugene, Oregon, and Lorraine Abner of New York; her brother and sister-in-laws, Bill Young and wife Ethylene of Louisiana, Jimmy Bufkin and wife Ginger of Louisiana, and James Young of California; her grandchildren, Kody Kirkland, Khristen and Jon Pierce, Jessie, Cedric, Francis, and Gregory Huston, Keith Young, Ashley and Hailey McCord, James, Cheyenne, Kenda, and Destany Young, Stormy Brawley, Alexis, Jaxyn, and Nathan Mears, Trista Ochoa, Richard Leger, Angie Moss, Manisha Bergdoll, Kyler Kitchen, Kylee McMurrian, Shadden Whitten, and Codie and Callum Shaw; her great grandchildren, MacKinzie Lewis, Kadence Kirkland, Jose, Jessie, and Mishelle Mooney, Jon and Trenton Pierce, Joni and Tamblyn Moss, Audery and Laden Leger; and several nieces and nephews.
MEMORIALS - The family requests that memorials be to the White Deer EMS.
