Edgar "Buck" Doyle Lee's Obituary
McLEAN SERVICES- 3:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2013 in the First Baptist Church in McLean with Rev. Windell Knutson and Rev. Thacker Haynes, officiating. INTERMENT- Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Buck was born on December 4, 1931 in Alanreed to O.K. and Maggie Beardon Lee. He married Stella McClellan on August 30, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. He had been a lifetime resident of McLean. He was an avid golfer and made a hole in one in 1979 in Shamrock. He was also a member of the McLean Golf Association. He liked to farm and worked several different jobs prior to his retirement. Buck was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in McLean. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; 6 brothers; and 3 sisters. SURVIVORS - his wife, Stella Lee of Leander; his son, Doyle Lee and wife Cindy of Leander; 2 grandchildren, Dustin Lee and girlfriend Brittany Cardwell of Cedar Park and Kaela Lee of Leander; 4 brothers, James Lee of Pampa, Ray Lee of McLean, O.K. Lee, Jr. of Pampa and Paul Lee of Shamrock; 2 sisters, Collene Franks and Mabel Pletcher both of Pampa; and numerous nieces and nephews. MEMORIALS - The family request memorials be sent to the First Baptist Church of McLean or the McLean Volunteer Fire Department.
