Earnest Wayne Tubbs, 78, passed away on October 20, 2020 at his home in Clarendon surrounded by his family. A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at the First United Methodist Church of Clare Read Obituary

Due to COVID19 we probably can't hug each other but you all are huggers so I wanted you to have hugs. I will always cherish more the little stool my dad made me and Wayne repaired it and painted it for me. And he wouldn't let me pay him for it! He said he liked the story of the stool. I have only known you guys since I moved here from Albuquerque but to me Wayne was what a definition of a Christian man should be. And you are all Christian representatives too.. We both had an opportunity to visit with Wayne when he came to refurbish an old table of ours. Wayne always had a smile and a kind word.
John Knipps here--Wayne and I worked together in Corona, NM and Wayne was one of the best people I've ever known. He will be sorely missed. Our condolences to the family and may God bless you and support you in the coming days.
