Earlene Joyce Thomas' Obituary
Earlene Joyce Thomas, 83, of Memphis died Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in Memphis.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 20, 2022 in Hulver Cemetery in Estelline with Rev. Anthony Knowles, officiating.
Viewing will be held Thursday at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends for visitation from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Earlene was born February 5, 1939 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Arley and Ruby Earlene Thomas. She had been a lifetime resident of Hall County where she was a waitress prior to her retirement. She loved gardening, yard work, children, and animals especially her two donkeys that she spoiled. Earlene was also a great cook and her favorite holiday was Easter. She will be deeply missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, T.H. Patterson; three brothers; a sister; and her grandson, Catlin Murray.
Survivors include her son, Sidney Mize of Memphis; her daughters, Pamela Ward of Memphis, Sheila Garcia of Navasota, Tammy Pfau of North Dakota, Patricia Wilks of Memphis, Cindy Mize of Childress, and Judy Murray of Memphis; her half brother, Alfred Thomas of Oklahoma; her sister in law, Myrna Thomas of Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family request memorials be sent to the Shriners Hospital.
