Dwaine Floyd, 78, of Memphis passed away June 29th , 2020 in Amarillo Texas.
Graveside services will be 9:30 AM Thursday, July 2, 2020 in The Chapel at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Jody Heckathorne, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing will be held from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Due to the Coronavirus, we are only allowing 5 people to enter the funeral home at a time. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at the Memphis Housing Authority, 216 S 5th Street, in Memphis.
If attending the service, please be prepared to maintain social distancing practices.

Dwaine Floyd was born on March 5th, 1942 in Wellington Texas to Woodrow and Eunice Floyd. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1960. He married Wanda on August 24th, 1978. Dwaine was a hard working family man that loved spending time with his family and he took pride in his love of the land.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda and his 6 children, Quint Floyd and wife Krista of Amarillo, Michelle Floyd of Memphis, Mischi Freeman and husband Ralph of Childress,, Jeri Lon Montgomery of Memphis, Daryl Montgomery and wife Jeanene of Panhandle, Jana Tippett and husband Clif of Memphis, 22 grandkids, 21 great grandkids, 1 great, great grandkid, his twin brother Dwight Floyd and wife Pat, his sisters Carolyn Davis, and Betty Butcher.
The family request memorials be sent to the Memphis Volunteer Fire Department.
