Doyle Eugene “Gene” Glazner died Monday, April 16, 2018.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Shamrock Cemetery, Shamrock, with Gary Oldham, officiating
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Gene was born October 30, 1948 in Wheeler to Doyle and Dorothy Hill Glazner. He married Jodi Rickey on February 14, 1986 in Shamrock. Gene served in the US Army and had lived in Shamrock area all of his life. He loved to hunt, fish and just to be outdoors. He loved to have fun and was a giver. Gene was a member of the American Legion Post #68 in Shamrock. He loved his family and never believed in stopping until he was through. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Odessa Stice Glazner.
Survivors: Wife-Jodi Glazner of Shamrock; 1 son-Tony Dean and Julie of Austin; Mother-in-law-Verna Hardin-Shamrock, 1 sister-Regina Woods – Pampa; 2 nephews, Keith & ReDonn Woods and Kevin and Jeree Woods; Great nephews, Taylor and Kade Woods and Great nieces Autumn, McKenzie and Kennedey Woods.
Memorials: Samnorwood Baptist Church or Shamrock Cemetery Association.
