Domer Arthur Miller's Obituary
Domer Miller, 88, of Allison, Texas passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his home in Allison.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Zybach Cemetery with Andy Taylor, officiating.
Viewing will be held Tuesday at the funeral home with the family receiving guests from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Domer Arthur Miller was born December 13, 1932 in Doxey, Oklahoma to O.V. "Buck" and Mary Reed Miller. He attended school at Meridian and Sweetwater schools. Domer married Hazel Welch in Wheeler, Texas on April 10, 1951. Domer and Hazel moved to Allison, Texas in 1954 where they have been life long ranchers. Their 70 marriage resulted in four children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother in law, Elgie and Mae Welch; a sister, Ima Jean Wood; an infant son, Joe; and a great grandson, Joe.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel of the home; his children, Danny and Cathy Miller, Donna and Sammy Tackett and Clifton and Chris Miller; grandsons, Shawn Miller and wife Jami, Jason Miller, Clint Miller, Andy Miller, Bradley and wife Kara Miller, Justin and wife Margaret Tackett; great grandchildren, Troy Miller, Chase and wife Melissa Miller, Jace Miller, Ruby Miller, Addilyn Miller, Scout Arthur Miller, and Lane Miller; great great grandkids, Zack Miller and Clark Miller; his brother, Dudley and wife Velda Miller; as well as host of other family and friends.
Domer will be remembered fondly as a hard working, ornery rancher.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Allison Volunteer Fire Department.
