GROOM SERVICES - 2:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2013 in the Chapel at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Rev. Dave Stout, pastor of Howardwick Baptist Church, officiating. INTERMENT- Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Dixie was born January 22, 1918 in Clarksville, Texas to John and Minnie Young Morris. She married Boley England in 1938 and later in life she married Benton Anthony. She lived several places including Iowa and California before settling in Groom in 1971. Dixie was a homemaker raising not only her children, but was a Nanny to others in and around the family. She had a great love for her family and enjoyed each of them dearly. Dixie was a member of the Groom Church of Christ. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her first husband, Boley England; her second husband, Benton Anthony; 4 sons, Bob England, Rick England, Bill England, and Ronnie Anthony; her daughter, Linda Anthony Britten; her granddaughter, Bridgett Britten; 6 brothers and 3 sisters. SURVIVORS – 4 sons, Joe England and wife Betty, of Dumas, Penny England and wife Virginia, of Camarillo, CA, Stan Anthony and wife Margie, of Groom, and Steve Anthony and wife Debbie, of Roscoe; her daughter-in-law, Rose England, of Groom; her son-in-law, Howard “Hop” Britten and wife Jan, of Groom; grandchildren, Marty England & wife Trina of Fritch, Dixie England Bernson and husband Patrick of New Orleans, Becky England Britten and husband Terrell of Waxahachie, Phillip England and wife Holle of Abilene, Jennifer England of Santa Cruz, CA, Cindy England of Camarillo, CA, Renee Anthony McKinley and husband Bill of Groom, Melissa Anthony and husband Andy York of Colorado Springs, Nicholas Anthony and wife Shannon of Abilene, Neal Anthony and wife Jessica of Richardson, Natalie Anthony of Roscoe, Sara Britten Hudson and husband Cody of Amarillo, Travis Britten and fiancé Katie Rau of Washington, Katy Britten of Amarillo, and Brody Britten of Groom; and numerous great grandchildren.
