Dianna Mae Williams Cantrell Wiginton's Obituary
Dianna Mae Williams Cantrell Wiginton, 64, of Memphis went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Amarillo.
Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 9, 2019 in the Travis Baptist Church in Memphis with Dr. OK Bowen, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Dianna was born August 4, 1955 in Shamrock to her loving parents, Lonzell and Ruth Williams. After the tragic passing of Lonzell at 3 months, she was raised by loving parents, Austin and Ruth Cantrell. She married Larry Michael Wiginton on May 18, 1976 in Shamrock. Dianna taught in several area schools for 10 years. Upon receiving her Masters in Education from WTAMU, she was an educational diagnostician for EPSSA for over 20 years. She loved going to the farm and helping Larry with cattle. She had a strong caring love for her grandkids and they were the light of her life. Dianna was a member of the Travis Baptist Church in Memphis, where she also volunteered her time serving as the Church secretary.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Cantrell; her birth father, Lonzell Williams; and her father, Austin Cantrell.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Wiginton of Memphis; a son, Lee Wiginton and wife Dawn of Lubbock; a daughter, Deborah McAnear and husband Jimmy of Childress; a brother, Jerry Cantrell and wife Linda of Rowlett; six grandchildren, Mackenzie, Josalyn, Cabel, Camryn, Brooklyn, and Cody Lee; two aunts, Pauline Johnsey of Memphis and Omelee Wiginton of Duncanville; and a host of friends and extended family.
