Delfina Villanueva's Obituary
Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis.
Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 12, 2017, 11:00 am in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis with Fr. Marco Gonzales as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Delfina Villanueva, 79, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 surrounded by her family in Fort Worth. She was born in Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico on December 24, 1937 to Valentin Adame and Feliciana Silva. She had worked at Lakeview ISD for 10 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis and Lady of Guadalupe in Fort Worth. She was involved in Guadalupana and Crusista. She loved sports, Church, and music. Her hobbies include crafting, making jewelry for the grandkids, and going to the movies.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Juan Villanueva.
Left to honor Delfina and remember her love are Delfina’s 8 children, Jose Villanueva and wife Rachele of Mission, Leticia Villanueva of Pilot Point, Manuel Villanueva and wife Dora of Keller, Ludivinia Lucero of Haltom City, Virginia Lopez of Memphis, Valente Villanueva and wife Eva of Memphis, Martina Adame of Keller, and Elizabeth Gomez and husband Lorenzo of Keller; 27 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandkids.
