Debra "Debbie" Sue Cabler's Obituary
Debra "Debbie" Sue Cabler, 67, of Memphis met her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
A memorial service will be held Monday, December 14, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Memphis, Texas. This service is open to all family and friends. Social distancing will be practiced.
Cremation and arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Debra (Debbie) Sue Cabler was born in Roswell, New Mexico, on August 15, 1953, to Pauline Potts and was raised by her grandparents Horace and Clara Belle Potts. She was the oldest of four younger siblings. Debbie graduated Orlando High School in Florida and received her LVN from Clarendon College. She worked as an LVN and pharmacy technician at Hall County Hospital for over 20 years. Debbie married Earl Cabler on June 21,1974. They have three children, Christopher Cabler, Jeremy Cabler and Justin Cabler.
Debbie loved to travel, and she and Earl took their kids on vacation every year when they were growing up. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed spending time making quilts for her kids and grandkids. She loved her grandchildren very much. They were her pride and joy. Debbie enjoyed watching movies and loved spoiling her sweet mini-Aussie Sage.
Debbie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Horace and Clara Belle Potts, mother Pauline Potts, and brother Mark Potts.
She is survived by her husband Earl, son Chris Cabler and wife Sarah of Amarillo, Texas, son Jeremy Cabler and wife Jody of Spur, Texas, and son Justin Cabler and wife Mandy of Childress, Texas; grandchildren Daryan Cabler, Jacy Baca and her husband Jayton, Lane Cabler, Jett Cabler, Cody Cabler, Hunter Dowse, Jayla Cabler, Mason Keith, Addison Cabler, Aubree Podzemny and Franklin Podzemny; great-grandchildren Daiden and Dominic; brothers Dwayne Sanders and wife Lori, and Kenny Adams, and sister Tywilla Jo Adams.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the United Pentecostal Church of Memphis, Texas.
