Deborah Anne Giles' Obituary
Deborah Anne Giles, 73, of Claude, TX, entered paradise on Sunday, July 9, 2023.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2023, at Robertson Saints’ Roost Chapel in Clarendon with Dick Gravley officiating.
Cremation and arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Deborah was born on May 24, 1950, in Amarillo, TX, to Andy and Bernice (Dees) Giles. She graduated from Claude High School, class of 1968. Deborah later moved to Oklahoma where she was comptroller for Hope Lumber in Tulsa, OK. Deborah was an excellent cook and owned a café in Conway where she enjoyed serving others. Deborah’s career led her to a management position for Affiliated Foods where she retired after many years.
Deborah was a wise and intellectual woman who enjoyed music, reading, art, and astrology. She loved to play games, Poker with her nieces and nephews might have been her favorite. She was always someone you could talk to and was always there with a hug and a smile. She loved spending time with her family. She was a loving sister, amazing aunt and cousin, and a faithful friend. Deborah had a way of making everyone feel special and time with her will be missed.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her brother, Mike Giles, and Nancy Justice of Claude; (6) nieces and nephews, Brittany and Ignacio Soliz of Claude, Michael Andrew Giles of Derby, KS, Brandon and Kristen Justice of Amarillo, Kevin Justice of Amarillo, Ashley and Tate Hanks of Amarillo, and Allison Giles of Amarillo; (7) great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Raja.
