He was our family doctor and brought 5 out of 7 children into the world. Condolences to his family.
Such a good man, cured many of my ills and repaired a few cuts, bruises, and breaks. He was great to all of us who went to him in Shamrock.
Very fond memories spending time at the Blackketter's home as a youngster playing with Ross and his brothers and sister, and Dr. B always joking and kidding around with us children. He always had a great and fun loving sense of humor.I recall wanting to get a motorcycle and he begged me not to do so much so that he took me to the hospital one time to visit with a man that had just been in a motorcycle accident to sway my opinion of them. He was a fine man and a great physician, and a wonderful father and husband as well. You are missed from our presence Dr. B. Many prayers to his family at this time in their lives.Von
He will be miss. A great doctor. He was my long time doctor when I was little till he retired.
My thoughts & prayers are with the family today. Thanks to Dr. Blackketter for all he did for my family & the whole community of Shamrock. He will be missed
Sorry to hear of dr blackketter passing away. He was a great dr and will be greatly missed by those he served as a dr and a friend to. God bless you and your family as you go through this transition without him
I was one if not his first baby he delivered in Shamrock. He was such a great man and will be missed by all.
Carla, Kurt, Neal, and Ross, the Smith family extends our sympathies and prayers out to your family. Your Dad practiced medicine the good old fashioned way. Wish everyone in the medical field could have taken lessons from him. If there were ever a doctor's hall of fame, he would be the first inductee in my book!
I was very sad to hear of Dr. Blackketter's passing. He was a great Dr.
We are so very sad to hear of Dr. Blackketter's passing. He was a very special man in my life and I am comforted to know that he is in a much better place. Our prayers for comfort and strength are with you all.
