David Baker's Obituary
David Baker, 74, of Wheeler died Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Wheeler.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in the Gageby Church in Gageby.
At Mr. Baker's request, his body was donated to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
David was born August 24, 1946 in Wheeler to Chuck and Marie Baker. He married Donna Pribble on June 24, 1966 in Perryton. David loved sports especially football and basketball and enjoyed going to his grandkids games. He also enjoyed going to Oklahoma State games. He deeply loved his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. He had been a resident of Wheeler for the last 23 years and was a member of Gageby Church in Gageby.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Staci Baker; and a brother, Bobby Baker.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Baker of Wheeler; his son, Mark Baker and wife Aldena of Perryton; his daughters, Dani Hollis and husband Van of Rocky Ford, Colorado and Misty Stockton and husband Aaron of Balko, Oklahoma; his brothers, Larry Baker and wife Deanna of Pampa and Dwayne Baker and wife Bobbie Sue of Elk City, Oklahoma; his sister, Phillis O'Quin and husband Rick of Perryton; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to BSA Hospice of Southwest.
