I'll be forever grateful that our paths crossed. Darrell always brought a grin to my face. HIs stories, his ranch knowledge, and most of all how he could tease me and get me to laughing at myself. I'm also glad that I was able to see him recently. Several years ago my sister that lives in Indiana was visiting and sent me a picture from the restaurant in Bushland. She said she took a picture of a man there eating and told me it was gonna be neat to show her friends a true working ranch cowboy by the looks of his skin, clothes, hands and the how he conducted himself. She sent me the pic and I snickered and said yes Sis that's Darrell!, and you are correct. She laughed and said you know him!!!? Yes ma'am Thankfully I did!!!
