Danny Dean Hand's Obituary
Danny Dean Hand, 57, of Claude, left this life for a joyous reunion with family and friends in Heaven, on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Danny was born September 29, 1965 in Spearman, TX to Dave Hand Jr. And Willa Faye Hand.
Growing up, Danny enjoyed playing Daniel Boone, being a cowboy, riding and showing horses.
Later in life, he looked forward to the annual River Rat floating trip. He enjoyed spending time with the high school friends he grew closer to. He also loved going on cruises and continuing to be the life of the party.
In 1977, he moved to Harrah, OK with his mom and step-dad, Jamie Creamer. He graduated in 1984 there at Harrah High School.
Danny would go on to marry the love of his life, Cheryl Denene Owens, on his birthday in 1990.
Danny worked various jobs in OK before moving to Claude, TX. He would work for BNSF railroad for the next 25 years, where he met many life long friends.
The most important thing to know about Danny, is that he loved his family with all of his heart.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl of Claude; two daughters, Shay Hand of Claude; Amber Barnes, husband TJ, and first granddaughter, his pride and joy, Connie Faye of Amarillo; two sisters, Tamara Lollis, Cyndi Turman and husband Marvin, all of Harrah, OK. Two brothers, Billy Dave Hand and wife Betty of Cummings, IA; Jeffrey Hand and wife Mary of Topeka, KS. Connie Spiller and husband Glen of Claude, and numerous nieces and nephews that thought the world of their Uncle Danny. Last but not least, his best friend and mini Aussie, Molly Brown-Hand.
