Connie Lee Havens' Obituary
SERVICES- 2:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2014 in the First Baptist Church in Clarendon with Patrick Robertson, officiating.
Cremation will follow after the service.
Cremation and Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Connie was born June 20, 1947 in Memphis to Curtis Pope “Pete” and Stella Phillips. She married Bobby Gene “Bob” Havens on October 26, 1963 in Clarendon. Connie lived most of her life in Donley County. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and Granny Connie to many. She worked on the family farm for years as well as several jobs over the years. Most recently she was the Justice of the Peace for Donley County, Precinct 1&2.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; and a brother, Clifton Phillips.
SURVIVORS – her husband, Bob Havens of Clarendon; 3 daughters, Dianne Bentley of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Crystal Stewart and husband Jon of Amarillo, and Bobbie Corder and husband Glen of Houston; 2 brothers, Jimmy Phillips of Lake Texhoma and Danny Phillips of Amarillo; a sister, Pernie Brown of Quanah; 7 grandchildren, Steven Bentley and wife Clarissa and Meagan Logan and husband Garrett all of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Leigh Chandler and husband Curtis of Yukon, Oklahoma, Madison and Quinton Stewart of Amarillo, and Wade and Cole Gillig of New Caney; 4 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren on the way.
