Connie Jean Coin Pinion's Obituary
HOWARDWICK Services - 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2005 in Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon with Rev. Bryan Knowles, Pastor, officiating. Interment in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo. Jean was born March 22, 1933 in Amarillo and lived there most of her adult life before moving to Howardwick in 1988. She married Harold M. Pinion on May 26, 1949 at Clovis, NM. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon and a loved member of the Rebekah Lodges #276 and #149. She was preceded in death by her daddy and mother Jimmie Dru and Aylleen Coin; an aunt, Loma Lou Gibbs, 2 grandchildren, Melanie Brogden and Candace Lax; and a great grandchild, Abigail Mullinix. She loved God and her family dearly. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing cards and bingo. She cherished spending time with her family. She was a very loving, kind, gentle, and caring woman. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors - her husband, Harold Pinion of Howardwick; 5 daughters, LaVerne Pinion of Ceta Glen, Phyllis Chastain of Amarillo, Patti Pinion of Amarillo, Brenda and Tommy Hill of Clarendon, Debra and Danny Hill of Clarendon; an uncle, Howard Taylor of Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Michael and Cristy Mullinix, Dave Chastain, Chris and Courtney D'Costa, Timaree Chastain, Josey and Lauren Shadle, Jarad Lax; and 9 great grandchildren. Memorials - BSA Hospice in Amarillo or Rebekah Lodge in either Amarillo or Clarendon.
