SERVICES - 10:00 AM Friday, September 5, 2014 in the The Chapel at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Rev. C.W. Parker, officiating. INTERMENT- Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis. Cleon was born April 1, 1916 in Memphis to B.H. and Retha Venita Hayes. She married Homer Kenneth Burleson on July 25, 1936 in Hollis, Oklahoma. She loved to work, be around people, and her animals. She also loved cooking, eating, and working in the yard. She was a lifetime resident of Memphis and was a charter member of Club 51 and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Memphis. Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and Community Care Center for their special care of Mrs. Burleson. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- her parents; her husband; and 3 sisters. SURVIVORS – a son, Jerry Burleson and wife Kathy of Seminole; a daughter, Judy Lopez of Panhandle; 4 grandchildren, Blake Burleson and wife Brittany, Kelly Speed and wife Misty, Kyle Burleson, and Kira Boyd and husband Damon; 4 great grandchildren, Rowdy Speed, Bryan and Lexie Burleson, and Tanner Boyd; and 2 step great grandchildren, Ethan and Kaytie Seitz. MEMORIALS – The family request memorials be sent to Gentiva Hospice or Community Care Center of Clarendon.
