Clee Parr's Obituary
Services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Daniel Downey, pastor, officiating.
INTERMENT – Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
VIEWING & VISITATION – The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Clee was born on March 21, 1924, in Cottle County, Texas to Grady and Anna Mae Terry Parr. He married Oma Jean Smith on March 14, 1948 in Memphis. He had served in the US Army during World War II. Clee had been a rancher his entire life and in 1950 he moved from Cottle Co. to Memphis to continue ranching with his family. Clee was recognized as the Top Ranch Hand for Hall County in 1983. He had also received the Silver Spur Award from the 4-H for his help and involvement in the various activities with the 4-H Club. Clee also received Cyclone Booster of the Year for 1987-88. He loved watching his grandkids play sports and enjoyed going to their various extracurricular activities. Most mornings he could be found at The Rock Inn, where he would drink coffee with all his friends. Clee was a Baptist.
PRECEDED – He is preceded by his parents, Grady and Anna Mae; his wife, Oma in March of 2008; and by a sister Anna Beth Moseley.
SURVIVED – he is survived by a son, Greg Parr and wife Misty of Memphis; a daughter, Kelley Gardenhire and husband Kirby of Memphis; 2 brothers, Terry Parr of Lubbock, Bruce Parr of Childress; a sister, Donna Kay Isbell of Paducah; 7 grandchildren, Lacey Buttermore, Jessica Eudy and husband Austin, Reagan Parr, Lindsay Brown and husband Levi, Riley Parr, Ezequiel Rodriguez, Brice Gardenhire, Rhett Parr, Rose Parr; and by 4 great grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- in lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be sent to the First Baptist Church in Memphis.
