Clara Juanita Fillingim's Obituary
Church services will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church Allison, TX. with Gary Jahnel and Rev. Tom Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Cataline Cemetery, Allison, TX under the direction of Wright Funeral Home, Wheeler, TX. Juanita was born November 8, 1933 to Orval E. and Velma O. Boren in Olney Springs, Colorado. She went to meet her Lord and Savior on January 17, 2011. Juanita graduated in Olney Spring, CO. She was a homemaker. Juanita married Horace A. Fillingim on September 19, 1954 in Olney Springs, Colorado. They were together until his death in March, 2004. She was an active member of Allison United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Horace Fillingim March, 2004. Juanita is survived by 1 son Lawrence Fillingim and wife Wanda of Tatum, TX., 1 daughter Bonnie Maddox of Tatum, TX., 1 sister Eunice Akins of Canon City, CO., 1 uncle John Williams and wife Melva of Pueblo, CO., 4 sister-in-laws Shirley Fillingim, Elton Fillingim, Verna Fillingim, and Cornelia Lehman, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives. She will be greatly missed. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial be sent to Adams Tipps Fund in C/O Dick Irvine 15675 Hwy 152 Wheeler, TX 79096
