Cindy Welch's Obituary
Cindy Welch, 67, of Memphis died Monday, August 24, 2020 in Memphis.
Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, August 27, 2020 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Jeff Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 9:00 AM-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
She was born March 8, 1953 in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma. She was raised in Buffalo, Missouri and was a 1971 Buffalo High School graduate. In June 1971, she came to Memphis to visit relatives. She met Brian Welch and they were united in marriage December 5, 1971. She loved her family very much and loved attending family reunions. Her hobbies were cooking, quilting, and studying God's Word. She was a big Wellington Skyrockets fan supporting her grandkids. She was amember of the Ignited Church in Lavonia, Georgia. She looked forward to the day she'd see her Lord Jesus Christ face to face as she loved Him very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ona Brown of Andrews, Texas; her brothers, Garry Flynn and Johnny Brown.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Welch; one son, Greg Welch and wife Whitney; three grandsons, Drake Kaseten, and Haygen all of Memphis; her brothers, Tom and Patty Brown of Levelland, Steve and Monica Brown of Sundown, Richard and Joy Brown of Bentonville, Arkansas; her sisters, Ann and Jimmy Booth of Memphis, Gina and Isidro Garcia of Andrews, Texas, Linda and Jay Perry of Levelland, Texas, and Shirlene and David Bagby of Perryton, Texas; her sisters in law, Cyndi Flynn and Ruthie Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be at 1005 N. 17th Street in Memphis.
