Cheryl Jean Adams, 74, of Clarendon died on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Memphis.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:30 am at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon, with Rev. Larry Capranica officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Cheryl was born on March 9, 1944 in Clarendon to Claude and Leola Heckman Gilmore. She had been a longtime resident of Clarendon. She was saddle maker at The Saddlery in Clarendon for several years, a cake baker and decorator, and a loving wife, mother, and grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Howard; and a brother, Garrett Gilmore.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Adams, Sr.; 3 sons; Jimmy Adams, Jr. and wife Stacey of Clarendon, Dale Adams of Clarendon, and Michael Adams and wife Jenny of Lubbock; daughter, Judy Garrison and husband Mack; 3 brothers; Ben Gilmore of New York, Vern Gilmore of Arlington, Texas, and Robert Gilmore of Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
