Cecilia Pina Torres, 74, of Memphis died Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Memphis.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Bunk Skelton, officiating.
Viewing will be held Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Cecilia Torres was our Mom and Grandma who was a very nice person who cared for us. She was a person who cared for us. She was a wonderful person to know and meet. She was a very strong woman. She was a person who liked to sleep. She was a very talented and gifted person. She liked to color pictures. She was a good cook who cooked great food. She was a very good person who knew how to do everything for us. She will be known for her caring for people.
Survivors include her children, Beatrice Torres and husband Rolando and Juan Pena, Jr. of Memphis, Richard Castillo and wife Irma of Clarendon, Lalo Castillo and wife Cindy of Amarillo, Letty Mendoza and husband Gilbert of Lubbock, and Paul Castillo of Houston; 23 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Paul Pina of Amarillo, Candido Pina of San Marcos; sisters, Mary Pina of San Marcos and Joane Pina of San Marcos; several nieces and nephews.
