GRAVESIDE SERVICES- 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Shamrock Cemetery with Hiram Reyes, officiating.
INTERMENT- Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Family will be receiving visitors from 1:30 to 2:45 at the Calvary Christian Fellowship Church.
Cecile was born September 23, 1931 in Tipton, Oklahoma to Calvin Burchett and Esther Mae Reeves Burchett.
Her legacy includes 4 surviving children. Danny Aaron of Wichita, Kansas, Patti Fulcher and husband Lynn, Vickie Aaron, and Gerry Aaron all of Amarillo. Also surviving are grandsons John David Aaron, Aaron Fulcher, Lance Aaron, and Justin Aaron; and granddaughters: Sara Aaron, Shelley Gonzalez, Kendra Espinosa, and M’Kaila Aaron; 14 great-children, and 4 great, great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Forest Francis (Lude) Aaron in 1971 and youngest son Ronnie Jay Aaron, her beloved comedian in 2014, her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
Cecile married Lude Aaron on May 11, 1950. They had 5 children, and spent most of their married life farming east of Shamrock. In 1986 she moved to Canadian, Texas, and in 2012 she moved to Amarillo, Texas because of her decline in health.
She was known for her sewing and crafting abilities. Her family members received many homemade gifts from her, as did friends, or any acquaintance who expressed an interest in her creations. She made crafts for the staff at Plum Creek Specialty Hospital until she could no longer do so. She was greatly loved by Plum Creek and was known as a very happy and easy- longer do so. After the death of her husband in 1971, she devoted her life to raising her 5 children and marveled in the success of the mechanic, the teacher, the nurse, the policeman, and the refrigeration technician. She spent many hours babysitting her grandchildren and some of her great-grandchildren.
