Catherine "Cathe" Hinojosa Powledge, 50, of Allison, Tx left us to be with the Lord on Christmas day 2020 in Kansas City, Ks. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe with Rev. Mat Read Obituary
Cathe was such a sweet lady. When Jody and I worked together, I spent a lot of time at the Powledge home. She always made sure I was well fed. Although I haven’t seen Jody and Cathe in a few years, I’m a little sadder knowing that they are both gone from this earth. Rest In Peace and my prayers to the family.
My prayers go out to all family and friends. I knew Cathe on two different levels. First meeting at Pagemart / Weblink Wireless years ago and becoming friends. Then, she met one of my cousins Jody Powledge and the next I knew we were kin.
Cathe was a person that was the light in the darkness and had a personality that was infectious. I will miss her smile and laughter, but I know she is in a better place. Love you sweet friend .
My prayers for the family as they go through this trying time. Cathe was loved by so many that she encountered throughout her life. I met her through PAUMCS and we were blessed to be partners in that connection in Texas.
My deepest sympathy to Cathe's family. I continue to hold you in my thoughts and prayers. I knew Cathe through the Professional Administrators of United Methodist Connectional Structure (PAUMCS). Cathe was a bright light loved by many. She will be missed. May God continue to strengthen you during your period of bereavement.
