Carolyn Gayle Corse's Obituary
Carolyn Gayle Corse, 86, of Mobeetie, Texas passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Canadian.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Wheeler Church of Christ with Garrett English officiating. Burial will follow at Mobeetie Cemetery.
Viewing will be Tuesday at Robertson Funeral Directors, with family visitation from 5:00–7:00 PM.
Arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Carolyn was born March 20, 1940, in Canadian to Clifford and Euline Sherrod Walser. She married Earl Ralph Corse on February 11, 1956, in Mobeetie. She worked as an insurance agent and restaurant owner prior to retirement. A longtime resident of Dumas, she returned to Mobeetie in 2008. She was active in 4-H leadership, a member of the Pilot Club, and a devoted member of the Wheeler Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Ralph Corse, on March 22, 2023; and her brother, Charles Walser.
Survivors include her sons, Eddy Corse and wife Sarah, and Kenneth Corse and wife Chandra, all of Mobeetie; her daughter, Debbie Lamb and husband Perry of Mobeetie; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the Mobeetie Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 23, Mobeetie, TX 79061.
