McLEAN MEMORIAL SERVICES- 2:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2011 in the First United Methodist Church in McLean with Rev. Thacker Haynes,Pastor, officiating. INURNMENT - Will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean CREMATION AND ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. BIOGRAPHY- Mr. Dwyer was born April 17, 1927 in McLean to John William and Gracie Durham Dwyer, and had been a lifetime McLean resident. He had worked most of his life, prior to his retirement, as a teacher and educator in the McLean and Pampa schools. He was an avid tennis player in his younger days and a long time volunteer with Sam Haynes at Meals on Wheels. He had been a member of the McLean Lions Club for more than 50 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in McLean. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; and 3 brothers, John Emmitt Dwyer, James Archie Dwyer, and Joe Melvin Dwyer. SURVIVORS- 2 daughters, Mary Ann Boileau of Arizona City, Arizona, Carla Dwyer Rolinc of Coppell, TX; a brother, Edward Lee Dwyer and wife Jan of Hutchinson, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. MEMORIALS- The family requests that memorials be to First United Methodist Church / PO Box 125 / McLean, Texas 79057-0125.
