COWETA, OKLAHOMA / CLARENDON SERVICES - 10:30 am on Monday, December 3, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Tom Garmon, Pastor, and Rev. Allen Carson, officiating. INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Carl was born January 14, 1928 in Clarendon to Carl W. & Thelma Parsons Bennett. He received his education in the Clarendon school system and graduated from Clarendon High School in 1945. He then attended Wentworth Military Academy for two years. Carl & Annese Rattan were united in marriage on February 27, 1945 in Clarendon. Carl was the Vice President at Spartan School of Aeronautics for 25 years until his retirement. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Coweta, Masonic Lodge, and a worthy patron of the Eastern Star in Clarendon. His hobbies included golfing, boating, skiing, and hunting. He was also a pilot and enjoyed flying his own plane.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his parents; and one grandson, Steven Linihan.
SURVIVORS - his wife, Annese of Coweta, OK; one daughter, Helen Richardson of Coweta; 3 grandchildren, Keri Redman of Coweta, Brandi Trompler of Owasso, and Michael Linihan of Tulsa; six great grandchildren; and two cousins, Clyde Price and Kenneth Price.
MEMORIALS - The family requests memorials be to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
