Byron Lynn Kinzy's Obituary
Byron Lynn Kinzy, 61, of Shamrock passed away September 02, 2022 in McLean, Texas.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Lynn was born September 8, 1960 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Marvin Kinzy and JoJo Couch. He grew up in Erick where he attended school. Lynn married Sharon Reed on May 17, 1984 and later moved to Amarillo where they started their family. They later moved to Cheyenne, OK and Lynn moved to Shamrock in 2002 where he finally made his home.
Lynn enjoyed watching western movies, playing pool and fishing. He was an avid fisherman and was willing to go fishing with anyone especially his family. Lynn turned his hobbies of painting and carpentry into a life- long career. He loved helping people so there wasn’t a project he said no to; except maybe the last minute ideas his kids would come up with.
Lynns favorite thing to do was spend time with his kids and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon; granddaughter Oaklee Rai.
Survivors include: 2 daughters Erica Kinzy of Shamrock and Anna Lacy of Erick, OK. 4 grandkids; Koree Nikole, Kayson Ray, Kayton Kreed and one on the way.1 sister; Marvetta Baker of Amarillo, 3 brothers; Mike Kinzy of Amarillo, Dale Kinzy of San Antonio, Johnny Kinzy of Denton, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
