Buster G. Guest's Obituary
Services will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Calvary Christian Fellowship Church in Shamrock with Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, officiating. Burial will follow in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Visitation will be from 5:00-6:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Buster was born June 24, 1940 in Tulia to Ralph and Neleta Barnard Guest. He married Anna M. Teel on August 24, 1978 in Lamar, Colorado. He had been a resident of Shamrock since 1998 and made bits, spurs, leather crafts, was also a cowboy and a horseshoer. He was a member of Calvary Christian Fellowship Church in Shamrock.
Buster was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Dawn Renee Bolen.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Guest of Shamrock; 4 sons, Jay Guest of Amarillo, Guy Guest and wife Shanna of Dumas, Montie Guest of Wheeler, and Robert Mesecher of Sylvania, Georgia; 1 daughter, Tina Schmitt and husband Derrick of Dumas; a brother, Jerry Guest of New Mexico; 4 sisters, Lanelle Madden of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Darlene Blankinship and husband Burt of Amarillo, Sharon Hill and husband Allen of Bushland, and Normie Smallwood and husband Bobby of Amarillo.
