Brenda Janiece Harclerode's Obituary
Brenda Janiece Harclerode, 63, of Claude, TX, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Amarillo.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11 AM at the First Methodist Church of Claude with Calvin Burrow officiating. Burial will follow in Claude Cemetery.
Viewing and visitation will be held at Robertson Claude Chapel from 2 – 4 PM on Sunday, March 10th.
Arrangements are by Robertson Claude Chapel.
Brenda was born on November 2, 1960, in Amarillo, TX, to Robert and Don Ella (Ogletree) Brinkley. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School. Brenda later received her associate’s degree from Amarillo College. She moved to Claude in 1994 and has been a resident ever since. She worked for Attebury Grain for 29 years. Brenda married Gary Harclerode in 1999 in Amarillo.
Brenda was a wonderful cook. Her life revolved around her beloved grandchildren, as they were the most precious people to her. She attended First Methodist Church in Claude.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Don Ella Brinkley; and her sister, Sharon Lansbury.
She is survived by her husband, Gary of Claude; daughter, Lisa Zimms and husband, Chad, of Sayre, OK; brothers, David Brinkley and wife, Veronica, of Amarillo, and Bryan Brinkley and wife, Marilyn, of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren, Kolton and wife, Jacobi, Alexi, Rylee, Jacob, Hayden, and Kashton; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
