Brady Fulton Meadows' Obituary
Brady Fulton Meadows, 76, a lifetime resident of Wheeler, TX, passed away December 10, 2017. A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Church in Wheeler, TX, Thursday, December 14, 2017, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Erron Mercer officiating. Interment will follow at the Wheeler Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler. Brady was born in Wheeler on December 13, 1940, to B.F. “Red” Meadows and Margie Vaughn Meadows. Brady actively served in the Berlin Crisis during the Cold War in the Army, before he married Mary Holt on March 3, 1966, in Amarillo, TX. He owned Meadows Water Well Service for a number of years, he also worked for the Waterfield Ranch before becoming the Wheeler Justice of the Peace, where he has served for the last 12 years. He was a member of Wheeler’s American Legion, also. He loved his family, was a very hard worker no matter the task, and was a man of the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 1995; his son, Robert Meadows, in 2007; his brother, EJ Meadows; two sisters, Lou Trimble and Von Nell Hughes. Survivors include 2 sons; Mitch Meadows and wife Leslie of Wheeler and Stephen Meadows and wife Angela, along with their sons Ryan and Dillon Harris, of Blanchard, OK; 2 brothers; Richard Meadows of Briscoe and John Meadows of San Marcus; 6 grandchildren; Brady Meadows, Lurissa Meadows, Jozie Meadows, Alex Meadows, and Elizabeth Meadows. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, 600 SW 11th. Amarillo, TX, 79101
