GRAVESIDE SERVICES- 2:00 pm Saturday, January 9, 2010 in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Elder Harry Williams, Pastor of the New Jerusalem COGIC of Borger, officiating.
INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Bobby was born May 17, 1963 in Memphis to Howard and Eddie B. Jones Weatherton. He had been a lifetime resident of Clarendon and graduated from Clarendon High School where he was a part of the football teams that had made the playoffs multiple times. He also enjoyed football and his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed fishing and cooking on the grill. He also enjoyed being around his family and friends. Bobby had also worked at Texas Department of Transportation in Clarendon were he was an equipment operator and had been a lead worker. He was a member of the St. Stephens Baptist Church in Clarendon.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his mother, Eddie B. Weatherton; and a brother, Willie James Weatherton.
SURVIVORS- include his father, Howard Weatherton of Clarendon; his wife, Michelle Weatherton of Clarendon; 3 sons, Michael Henderson of Clarendon, Emory “E.J.” Weatherton, and Jonathon Cartwright of Clarendon; 2 Daughters, Cindy Weatherton Pena of Amarillo, McKayla Cartwright of Clarendon; 3 brothers, Randolph Weatherton of Arizona, Howard Weatherton, Jr. of Amarillo, and Larry Jones of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Trish Weatherton Allen and Linda Weatherton Clark both of Clarendon; and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family.
MEMORIALS- The family suggests that memorial donations be sent to the CISD Athletic Program in memory of Bobby.
