GRAVESIDE SERVICES- 2:00 PM Monday, May 25, 2015 in Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed with Gene Galley, officiating. INTERMENT- Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Mr. Massey was born January 15, 1930 in Rockledge, Texas to John Robert and Nannie Leola Snuggs Massey. He married Ella Mae Castleberry on August 25, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was a lifelong resident of McLean and graduated from McLean High School. Bobby served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by El Paso Natural Gas for many years. He retired to start Massey Rental Properties. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was devoted to his special needs son, Brent for 51 years. He spent many hours watching car races on TV with his son Brent and was very knowledgeable of vintage cars. Bobby enjoyed the wonderful meals and desserts his wife cooked for him. He loved the Lord and he looked forward to seeing his wife and many loved ones in Heaven. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; and his wife, Ella Mae on September 5, 2014. SURVIVORS- a son, Brent Massey of Amarillo; a daughter, Brenda Shirlene Massey Galley and husband Gene of McLean; 2 grandchildren, Jonathan Galley and wife Nancy of Lubbock and Rachel Speer and husband Gary of Fort Worth. MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to Loaves and Fishes in McLean.
