Bobby Harold Barbee, 84, of Memphis died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Memphis.
Memorial services with Masonic Rites will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 2, 2021 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Daniel Downey, officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview.
Cremation & Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Bobby was born November 12, 1936 in Lakeview to Jessie Herbert and Ethel Smith Barbee. He married Dixie Osborn on February 15, 1957 in Childress, Texas. He had been a lifelong resident of Hall County where he was a farmer. Bobby loved his dogs, hunting, and for 56 years he enjoyed pheasant hunting in Nebraska. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, served as Hall County Commissioner for 12 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; and 7 sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Dixie Barbee of Memphis; his daughters, Belinda Barbee of Amarillo, Rachelle Stewart and husband Phil of Memphis, and Debby Strong and husband Joe of Dickens; 3 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
The family request memorials be sent to the Lakeview Cemetery Association or the First Baptist Church in Memphis.
