LA MESA, NEW MEXICO SERVICES-2:00 pm on Thursday, June 21, 2007 in Robertson Chapel Of Memories with Rev. Lance Wood, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Clarendon, officiating. INTERMENT- Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Billy Lynn was born September 27, 1941, in Clarendon to James Freeman and Clara Mae Webb Rampy. He was struck with polio at the young age of 8. He was a graduate of Hedley High School. He worked on several ranches before receiving his Master‘s Degree from Texas Tech University. He taught at several schools in Texas and New Mexico as an ag teacher. He was a Christian. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his parents; 2 brothers, Don Rampy & Delbert Rampy; 2 sisters, Jo Beth Warner & Onita Thomas; SURVIVORS - his wife, Clara Rampy of La Mesa, NM; a son, James Datis Rampy of Oklahoma City; 2 step sons, Rumaldo Camacho & Carlos Camacho; a step daughter, Nancy Mitchell; 2 brothers, Troy Rampy of San Jose, California, & Aubrey Rampy of Ingram; 2 sisters, Janette Baumberger of Amarillo & Willa Bolin of Texoma, OK; 5 step grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
