Billy Don Holladay, 59, of Howardwick died on Monday, September 24, 2018 in Howardwick.
Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 in Robertson Saints’ Roost Chapel at 11:00AM with Chuck Robertson, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Billy was born on September 26, 1958 to Doc and Gwen Davis Holladay in Lockney, Texas. He was a resident of Amarillo most of his life before moving to Howardwick in 2010. He was a 30 year mechanic for several of Chevrolet dealers in Amarillo. Four years ago he began working for the City of Howardwick, as maintenance personnel. He was saved in 1994 at the Osage Baptist Church in Amarillo. Billy was a very simple man who was always seen wearing boots, jeans, and a cowboy hat.
Survivors include his parents, Doc and Gwen Holladay of Howardwick; a daughter Amanda Bustamante of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Suzanne Braddock and husband Terry and Michelli Garrity and husband Bill all of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Rusty Holladay and wife Vicki of De Berry, Texas and Dustin Holladay and wife Jana of Frankston, Texas; 2 grandchildren, Haven Bustamante and Zack Mendez both of Amarillo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be sent to Donley County Senior Citizens.
