HOWARDWICK MEMORIAL SERVICES - 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in the First Baptist Church of Howardwick with Rev. Dave Stout, Pastor, officiating. CREMATION AND ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mr. Selfridge was born April 2, 1937 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to James Thomas and Lillie Victoria Hawkins Selfridge. He was a resident of Amarillo prior to moving to Howardwick 14 years ago. He married Mary Estelle Coulter on April 14, 1957 at Borger. He had served in the US Army. He had worked as a law enforcement officer most of his life and most recently was a Deputy Sheriff for Donley County. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Decendants of Austin's Old Three Hundred, Sons of the Republic of Texas, and the Former Texas Rangers Association. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Howardwick. SURVIVORS - his wife, Mary Selfridge of Howardwick; one son, Bret Wayne Selfridge of Amarillo; one brother, Howard Dale Selfridge of Allen; three sisters, Mildred Churchman of Seattle, Washington, Chersie Davis of Allen, Juanita Williams of Enid, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
