Cremation and Arrangements Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Billie was born September 24, 1934 in Gray County to W.V. “Bill” and Minda Elizabeth Lofton Pettit. She was a 1953 graduate of McLean High School and was a longtime resident of McLean. She married Chalmus “Hoppy” Moore in January of 1954 in Clayton, New Mexico. She was a member of the McLean Church of Christ. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- her parents; and her husband. SURVIVORS - a daughter, Carmel Hogue and husband Brian of Woodward,OK; a son, Chris Moore and wife Teresa of Woodward, OK; a sister, Larue Hambright and husband Kenneth of McLean; 6 grandchildren, Chase Hogue and wife Megan, Jamie Meges and husband Michael, Cale Hogue, Carley Hogue, Jacob Moore, and Alexandria Moore; 1 great grandchild, Lundon Meges; 2 brother in laws, Wayne Moore and wife Beverly of Forgan, Oklahoma and Harl Moore and wife Mauree of Pampa; 3 sister in laws, Mary Plumm of Scott City KS, Willie Pharis of Austin, and Harleen Smith and husband James of Elk City, OK. MEMORIALS - The family request memorials be to the High Plains Childrens Home or a favorite charity.
