Billie Ray Lisle, 73, of Shamrock died Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Shamrock.
DUE TO THE WEATHER, THE SERVICE WILL BE MOVED TO THE FUNERAL HOME IN SHAMROCK. THE SERVICE WILL STILL BE AT 2:00 PM
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2019 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Johnny Carter, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Billie was born March 23, 1946 in Lela to Jack and Anna Jewel Lisle. He married Mary Lavone Rose on June 27, 1969 in McLean. Billie was a lifetime resident of Shamrock and ran a mail route for many years serving Wheeler County. He was a former member of the Kiwanis Club and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shamrock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on December 3, 2012; three brothers, Manson, Gliford, and W.J. Lisle.
Survivors include 1 daughter Kimberly Baker of Shamrock, Texas; 2 brothers, Joe Lisle of Shamrock and Richard Alvin Lisle of Mobeetie; 2 sisters, Nellie Johnson of Crowley and Bonnie Davidson of Wheeler; 3 grandchildren, Destiny Baker, Freddie Baker III, Devon Baker; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family request memorials be sent to Shamrock Cemetery Association.
(If inclement weather occurs, services will be held at Robertson Funeral Directors in Shamrock.)
