Billie Elizabeth Holcombe, 83 years old of Wheeler, Texas, passed from this life on Monday, August 19, 2019, in Wheeler, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Texas with Lori DeBose, officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Billie was born on September 15, 1935, to Clyde Hannon Worley and Bessie Ernest Worley. She had been a full-time resident of Wheeler since 2002, coming from Brownfield, Texas. While living in Brownfield she was a babysitter for many years. Throughout her life Billie enjoyed sewing and watching sports, gardening and canning the fruits of her labor, and Tops Club. She loved her nephews as deeply as if they were her own sons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and five sisters.
Survivors include her sister, Audrey Gould of Mineola, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
